The role focuses on business-facing data quality requirements, data steward enablement, program oversight, reporting, and adoption.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years in business analysis, data analysis, or similar stakeholder-facing requirements work.
- At least 1 year of data quality, governance, or management exposure is preferred.
- Working SQL skills, strong facilitation and communication, backlog organization, follow-through, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Bachelor of Computer Science.
Requirements and rule backlog
- Define data quality requirements by business function and subject area, tied to business capabilities.
- Document critical data elements, quality expectations, thresholds, severity, and accountable stewards or owners.
- Define cross-entity correlation rules and subject-area quality scores tied to business readiness.
- Prioritize the rule backlog with the Data Quality Engineer, balancing business impact, regulatory importance, and engineering effort.
- Validate rules with stakeholders before deployment and maintain traceability across requirements, rules, subject areas, and systems.
Steward enablement and oversight
- Train Business Data Stewards and data owners to interpret, work, and resolve DQLabs alerts.
- Maintain triage guides, response expectations, escalation paths, and FAQs.
- Track alert response and resolution, follow up on stale alerts, manage escalations, and collect steward feedback for rule tuning.
Reporting and adoption
- Shape data quality dashboards and leadership reporting for readiness, rule coverage, alert volumes and trends, responsiveness, and issue aging.
- Engage business consumers, gather feedback, demonstrate program value, and support communications, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement as processes roll out.
- Communicate program status, successes, and gaps in business-friendly terms.
Salary
- Salary range is $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
