Senior ELV Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect, test, commission, and oversee ELV installations for compliance with approved drawings, contracts, specifications, standards, and project requirements; ensure corrective actions for deviations.
• Review ELV designs and project documentation, including drawings, reports, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, subcontractor approvals, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure ELV integration with BMS for monitoring, alarms, data collection, inputs, and outputs.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues, align design standards, and review risks and deviations.
• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with completed-work assessments for interim and final payment certificates; record incomplete or substandard work.
• Check materials, equipment, and workmanship against company standards and approved specifications; maintain project references and an ELV vendor and systems database.
• Attend schedule, progress, coordination, and constructability meetings; verify work status and provide quality observations and recommendations for reports.
• Lead and monitor ELV team performance, evaluations, mentoring, and reporting.
• Ensure HSE compliance, promote awareness, and support audits and reviews of system studies, submissions, and modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of ELV engineering experience, including senior or supervisory experience.
• Strong expertise in ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, structured cabling, BMS integration, and other low-current systems.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards, local authority regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience in site supervision, testing, commissioning, contractor coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, reporting, leadership, and coordination skills.
