Responsibilities
- Lead on-site contractor supervision in line with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Conduct daily inspections and issue site instructions as needed.
- Coordinate discipline engineers and inspectors across trades; address technical queries with design and client representatives.
- Monitor contractor progress, report program deviations, and coordinate material submittals and shop drawing reviews.
- Chair or attend site meetings and maintain professional client and contractor relations.
- Ensure HSE compliance, escalate issues, and maintain site records including NCRs, logs, and reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and inspectors in site supervision practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 20+ years of experience, including management of large or complex project sites.
- Structural concrete experience is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of regional codes, contracts, and construction delivery models.
- Recognized technical authority in site-based delivery and compliance.
- Experience in building and airport projects.
