Responsible for hands-on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, testing, and repair of industrial electrical equipment and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot HV/MV/LV transformers and switchgear; work on HV/MV/LV cables and terminations.
- Maintain MV/LV MCCs and motors; troubleshoot PLC, VFD, and UPS systems.
- Maintain lighting, cathodic protection systems, hoists, and electrical systems of flares.
- Work with motor and feeder protection relays and troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, and power circuits.
- Read single-line diagrams, machine sketches, and complex control schematics.
- Use multimeters, Meggers, and related testing and calibration instruments.
- Follow PTW, LOTO, HSEQ, and plant safety procedures.
Requirements
- Technical diploma in an electrical trade (12+3 years).
- At least 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industry.
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Working-level English reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety, PTW, and LOTO.
