Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor progress across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning; analyze schedule variances and delivery risks.
- Collect and validate progress data with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and assess schedule impacts.
- Support delay analysis, claims preparation, and change management; track milestones and contractual requirements.
- Participate in project reviews and recommend ways to optimize performance.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of planning and scheduling experience in large-scale infrastructure, water treatment, or industrial projects.
- Proven experience working on desalination plant projects; RO, SWRO, MSF, or MED technologies are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EPC project execution and project controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in progress measurement, earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.
Preferred certifications
- Professional certification in Primavera P6 is preferred.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
