About Qanoniah Qanoniah is Saudi Arabia's leading AI LegalTech Startup. Our AI Legal Assistant is the trusted daily partner for major enterprises and government entities across the Kingdom, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes with speed and precision.

The Role We're scaling our infrastructure to support the next generation of our AI Legal Assistant, and we're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the platform our engineers and AI systems run on. You'll design, automate, and harden the infrastructure that serves top-tier Saudi enterprises and government entities — building reliable, secure, and compliant systems for one of the most demanding industries in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering Qanoniah's internal and external applications.
• Own and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) across all environments.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that ship code safely and quickly to production.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable infrastructure decisions, in close collaboration with developers, product, and leadership.
• Ensure the security, compliance, and auditability of the infrastructure (SDAIA, NCA, PDPL, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and similar standards relevant to KSA).
• Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response across services.
• Optimize for cost, performance, latency, and reliability — including AI/LLM workloads (GPU infra, model serving, vector DBs).
• Champion DevOps and DevSecOps culture across the engineering organization.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
• Proven track record running production infrastructure — not just lab or POC environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation) and configuration management.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Solid experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Knowledge of security best practices, secrets management, IAM, networking, and compliance frameworks.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with developers, product, and management to turn business needs into reliable infrastructure.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Makkah.

Nice to Have: Experience supporting AI/ML workloads (GPU clusters, model serving, vector DBs), familiarity with KSA compliance standards (SDAIA, NCA ECC, PDPL), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and FinOps practices.
