Our AI Legal Assistant is the trusted daily partner for major enterprises and government entities across the Kingdom, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes with speed and precision.

The Role

We're building our finance function from the ground up — and we're looking for our first finance hire to own it.

As Finance Manager, you'll be a hands-on hybrid: closing the books yourself in the early days, building the systems and processes, supporting our fundraising journey, and eventually hiring and leading your own team.

You'll work directly with the CEO on the numbers that drive one of the region's fastest-growing AI startups.

For the right person, this role comes with a clear path to Head of Finance as the function and team grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the finance and accounting function from scratch: structure, policies, systems, and workflows.
  • Own full-cycle accounting: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing (IFRS).
  • Ensure full compliance with ZATCA (VAT, e-invoicing/Fatoora, Zakat), GOSI, Mudad, and WPS.
  • Build and own the financial model, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow/runway planning.
  • Track and report SaaS metrics: ARR/MRR, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, churn, CAC, LTV.
  • Prepare investor-ready financials and data rooms; support fundraising and due diligence.
  • Recruit, train, and lead accounting staff as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Genuine strength in both worlds: hands-on accounting (closing books, compliance) AND strategic finance (modeling, budgeting, investor reporting).
  • Proven experience as a first finance hire, or building/scaling a finance function in a startup or SME, is a strong plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi regulations: ZATCA, GOSI, and labor law payroll requirements.
  • Strong command of accounting/ERP systems (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/financial modeling.
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; SOCPA membership required.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Makkah.
  • Nice to Have:
  • SaaS/subscription-business experience, CPA/CMA/CFA/ACCA, fundraising or due diligence exposure, ERP implementation from scratch.
