The Role
Own design for assigned categories from trend research through production handover, reporting to the Head of Design.
Work in an in-house, brand-side design team with suppliers to turn concepts into commercial, trend-right collections.
The individual contributor role is fully based in Dubai; relocation is required, with supplier-factory travel as needed.
What You Will Own
- Research trends, competitors, and street style to set collection design direction.
- Design brand-aligned garments from concept sketches through final tech packs.
- Develop first samples with suppliers and provide fit comments through production-ready approval.
- Own the category calendar, balancing design vision, commercial targets, and timelines.
- Visit supplier factories to oversee quality and resolve fit or construction issues in person.
- Contribute to and, where relevant, lead special projects and brand collaborations.
What They Are Looking For
- Proven in-house experience on a brand-side design team, rather than with a vendor, manufacturer, or licensee.
- Strong hands-on skills in concept, technical drawing, fit, and supplier-facing production follow-through.
- Comfort working directly with international suppliers on sampling and fit.
- Current, applied use of AI or digital design tools in the workflow.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range and commercial sensibility.
- Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Dubai.
Success Measures
Collections are trend-right, delivered on calendar, and adopted into the range without rework.
Strong first-fit approval with minimal supplier revision rounds and on-time delivery from concept to production.
Accurate, complete tech packs in the PLM system and healthy sell-through on designed lines.
