Now hiring a Senior Design Manager for a fit-out contractor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination, and execution of comprehensive design management plans aligned with project schedules and contractual requirements.
- Establish and monitor drawing submittal schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and subcontractor deliverables.
- Review and validate subcontractor design submissions, shop drawings, and coordinated drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Provide design solutions for site issues, temporary works, logistics facilities, and technical challenges in collaboration with consultants and construction teams.
- Coordinate preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and authority submissions.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience within a fit-out contractor.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise on material specifications related to fit-out and FF&E items.
- Qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
