Senior Cyber Security Officer
About This Role
Job Summary:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT/OT security architecture to safeguard organizational data, systems, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance security architecture across IT and OT environments
- Manage and configure security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, anti-malware, etc.)
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and perform forensic investigations
- Ensure secure network access control and perform regular security reviews
- Support security operations, compliance, and audit remediation
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on security solutions and projects
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and continuous security improvements
- Provide 24/7 support for security and infrastructure issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and network security
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Security, CEH, CHFI preferred
- Strong expertise in IT/OT security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and network security
- Knowledge of oil & gas industry is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Working Conditions:
- Office/data center environment with occasional site travel
- On-call availability for after-hours support
