Responsibilities
- Lead civil, infrastructure, and building construction delivery and manage contractor performance against programme, quality, and safety requirements.
- Drive progress across work fronts and mitigate delivery risks and constraints.
- Oversee utility and infrastructure assets, including district cooling, generator farms, water and sewage treatment, fire water storage, pump stations, and networks.
- Manage roads, hardscape, landscape, and general civil works packages through all construction phases.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, specialist suppliers, and client representatives.
- Review methodologies, sequencing plans, temporary works proposals, and recovery programmes.
- Monitor progress, productivity, and resource deployment across contractors.
- Chair site coordination meetings, progress reviews, and technical workshops.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, contract requirements, and approved construction documentation.
- Support variation reviews, claims assessments, and change management.
- Champion health, safety, and wellbeing; conduct site inspections and audits for HSE and quality compliance.
- Support project reporting, governance, and senior stakeholder updates.
Candidate requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience delivering major civil, infrastructure, and building projects.
- Track record managing large-scale contractor-delivered construction packages.
- Experience across roads, utilities, treatment plants, pump stations, industrial facilities, and related civil infrastructure.
- Previous PMC, consultancy, or client-side experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, project controls, and programme management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills; experience managing multidisciplinary contractors in complex environments.
- Previous Middle East experience on major programmes, infrastructure developments, or giga-projects.
- Meet Saudi visa criteria and have relevant high-value project or programme experience for a project management consultancy, as required for immigration and client approval.
