Senior Business Systems Analyst, Oracle HCM Payroll, Core HR & Oracle learning

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Configure payroll elements, earnings, deductions, taxes, eligibility rules, workforce structures, workflows, approvals, role-based security, notifications, and Enterprise Journeys.
• Support payroll processing, validation, reconciliations, compliance, tax functionality, year-end activities, and Oracle Learning Cloud programs.
• Lead requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support; develop test plans and perform UAT and regression testing.
• Investigate application, configuration, integration, security, reporting, and data issues; support quarterly releases and validate enhancements.
• Use SQL and reporting tools for troubleshooting and data validation; maintain documentation and improve processes, controls, automation, and user experience.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 6 years supporting Oracle HCM Cloud, including Payroll, Core HR, and/or Learning, in a Business Systems Analyst, HRIS, or HR Technology role.
• Hands-on Oracle Payroll and Core HR experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, testing enhancements, and supporting production environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll processes, controls, compliance, tax regulations, and year-end activities.
• Experience with SQL and reporting tools, and working with HR, Payroll, Technology, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Oracle Learning Cloud experience is preferred, as are Fast Formulas, OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, HCM security, workflows, and complex organizational structures.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certification and experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry are preferred.

Workplace

• Flexible hybrid schedule: three days onsite and two days remote; onsite days include Tuesday, Wednesday, and a third day determined by the team or employee.
