Join DTCC’s Cyber Monitoring & Incident Response Team to help protect the organization from external cyber threats and manage cyber incidents.
The team performs round-the-clock monitoring, incident response, digital forensics and eDiscovery across locations.
Primary responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity events.
- Perform eDiscovery and other technical tasks; independently lead investigations.
- Train and mentor junior staff and contribute to exercises, training and process improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work.
- Travel occasionally to conferences, training and other DTCC offices, up to 10%.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience as a SOC analyst or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of incident response, security log analysis, SIEM, EDR, IDS, NBA, cloud security and DFIR best practices.
- Beginner-to-intermediate malware analysis skills in sandbox and manual methods.
- Scripting in at least one language is advantageous.
Success capabilities
- Produce written reports with detailed analysis and recommendations, and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Develop action plans from high-level requirements and prioritize multiple tasks with some guidance.
Work arrangement
- Flexible hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote each week.
