Role Description
The Senior Business Analyst (Banking Only) will work on-site in Abu Dhabi in a contract capacity, collaborating closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
This role involves gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, mapping current and future business processes, and identifying gaps and improvement opportunities within banking products and services.
The Senior Business Analyst will conduct data and process analysis, prepare detailed specifications, and support solution design and implementation in alignment with banking regulatory and compliance standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating workshops and meetings, coordinating with technical teams, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing ongoing guidance to ensure successful delivery of digital banking initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and validate requirements for banking systems and processes.
- Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map, optimize, and redesign workflows within banking operations.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present findings clearly, and manage expectations.
- Experience in digital banking, core banking systems, and regulatory/compliance frameworks in the financial sector.
- Proven background in delivering technology-driven projects within banks or financial institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
