Role Description

The Business Analyst (Banking Only) role is a contract, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi.

The individual in this role will work closely with banking stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for digital banking solutions and related initiatives.

Daily tasks include mapping current and future business processes, conducting gap analyses, preparing functional specifications, and supporting solution design and implementation.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate workshops and meetings, and help ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and user experience standards.

The role also involves validating deliverables, supporting testing activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of banking products and services.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex banking data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to elicit, document, and manage requirements across digital banking projects.
  • Candidates should possess Business Process skills to model, optimize, and align processes with banking industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present findings clearly, and facilitate workshops and meetings.
  • Relevant experience in banking or financial services, especially in digital banking, core banking systems, or payment solutions.
  • Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and engage with multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools, process modeling techniques, and basic project management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are an advantage.
