Senior Accountant – Head of Accounts

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the complete accounting function for the company and its subsidiary businesses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Handle UAE VAT filing, Corporate Tax filing, and ensure compliance with all UAE regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports, and financial analyses.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Support investment evaluations, business expansion plans, and strategic financial decisions.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to increase profitability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification: **ACCA, CPA, or CMA (Mandatory)**.
• Minimum **5–7 years of UAE accounting experience**.
• Previous experience in an **Investment Firm** is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing accounts for multiple business entities.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, ERP systems, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Languages: English (Required); Hindi and Arabic (Preferred).
