Senior Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Perform business forecasting and budgeting to support management decisions
• Handle project accounting, including cost tracking and financial evaluation
• Support financial planning and identify new business and investment opportunities
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and financial regulations
• Manage **VAT filing and Corporate Tax filing compliance in UAE**
• Ensure accurate and timely **VAT return filing and Corporate Tax return filing** in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA)

• Assist in preparation and submission of Corporate Tax returns and related documentation
• Support financial evaluation of projects, PPPs, and cross-border investments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional certification required: **CPA / ACCA / CMA**
• Strong experience in **business forecasting, budgeting, and project accounting**
• Proficiency in RealSoft ERP business management software or similar ERP accounting systems.
• In-depth knowledge of **UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax compliance**
• Strong experience in **VAT & Corporate Tax return filing in UAE**
• Good understanding of financial reporting and audit processes
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in **Group of Companies or Holding Company accounting is highly preferred**
