Compensation

• Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.

Accounting and reporting responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and current financial records; oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely book closing and accurate trial balances.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reports.
• Assist with annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide financial analysis and reports for management decisions and financial planning; present monthly MIS reports.

Tax, cash flow, and controls

• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable regulations; file tax returns on time and maintain tax audit documentation.
• Monitor daily cash flow, prepare projections, manage banking relationships, and optimise working capital and financial resources.
• Develop and implement internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Guide and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff, review their work, and coordinate with other departments.

Candidate requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience in the automotive industry; applicants are asked to have experience in the same automotive field.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven accountant experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
