The role
The accountant will manage financial operations and is expected to have expertise in UAE financial laws and VAT compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and file accurate VAT returns with the Federal Tax Authority.
- Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing and WPS compliance.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and cash flow statements for management.
- Maintain structured, audit-ready financial records.
Requirements and qualifications
- 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with hands-on UAE VAT and tax filing expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting software.
- Excellent command of English and strong analytical skills.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–5,000 per month.
