Role purpose

Lead the technology behind Discovery Dunes Golf Club's physical security operations.

Plan, design, implement, integrate, operate, maintain, and upgrade security systems and infrastructure in support of the security strategy and applicable UAE and Dubai regulations.

Security systems

  • Manage CCTV/VMS and access control systems, including Salto and related infrastructure.
  • Oversee ANPR/vehicle identification, perimeter intrusion detection, and other detection systems.
  • Support the SOC, including PSIM and security technology integrations.
  • Oversee intercom, emergency and security communications, barriers, and gates technology.
  • Integrate systems to provide a unified operational capability.

Projects and lifecycle management

  • Manage projects from design and procurement through installation, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover.
  • Ensure systems are documented, tested, and maintained; develop preventive maintenance schedules and lifecycle plans.
  • Monitor performance, identify upgrade opportunities, and evaluate emerging security technologies.
  • Maintain technical documentation, drawings, configurations, and asset registers.

Management and compliance

  • Manage vendors, contractors, service providers, budgets, quotations, and project costs.
  • Work with Security Operations, IT, Development, and other departments where systems interface with their infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with SIRA, Dubai Police, UAE Civil Defence, privacy and data protection, and other local requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to security technology personnel and contractors.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Security Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Approximately 8–10 years of physical security technology experience, including at least 5 years managing large-scale security technology projects.
  • Practical experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, ANPR, intrusion detection, and security-system integration.
  • Experience with SOC/PSIM environments and complex security technology infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of SIRA requirements and Dubai security regulations.

Preferred certifications

  • PSP/CPP, PMP/PRINCE2, CCNA/Network+, and relevant manufacturer certifications for CCTV, access control, or security technology platforms are preferred.
