Role overview
Lead hard and soft facilities management services across Discovery Dunes, a private residential community in Dubai.
Oversee infrastructure, amenities, and common areas to maintain safety, quality, and operational standards.
Work with contractors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to improve service performance and resident experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead community facilities management services and manage contractors and service providers against SLAs and KPIs.
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance, asset management, lifecycle planning, and capital improvements.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.
- Monitor infrastructure, critical systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Build stakeholder relationships, support sustainability and operational improvements, and prepare performance reports and recommendations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
- 7–10 years of facilities management experience, including 3–5 years in a UAE/GCC HOA or community management environment.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, CAFM platforms, contract management, and asset lifecycle planning.
- Experience managing FM budgets, contractors, and service level agreements.
- Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred certification
- NEBOSH or another professional facilities management certification is highly desirable.
