Lead health, security, safety, and environmental operations across a private residential community in Dubai.
Report to the Director of Safety & Security and work with residents, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the community's health, safety, and environmental strategy and management system.
- Drive compliance with UAE regulations, HOA governance, and industry best practices.
- Lead contractor HSE management, audits, inspections, and risk assessments; monitor contractor performance against HSE standards.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
- Develop emergency response plans, business continuity initiatives, and crisis management procedures.
- Promote environmental sustainability, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports, analyze trends, and recommend actions to senior leadership.
- Build a proactive safety culture that protects residents, guests, employees, contractors, and community assets.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- SIRA certification is mandatory.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate is required at minimum; additional HSE certifications are highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- UAE experience in residential or master communities, real estate, hospitality, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of contractor management, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and emergency response.
- Leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
