Security Operations Manager for Sainsbury's, with regional coverage across Leicester and Nottingham.
Working pattern is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver security services across assigned locations and meet budget, contractual and service targets.
- Manage non-trading sites and ensure staffing coverage by trained and competent officers.
- Support officer training, coaching and development initiatives.
- Provide cover for a designated Security Operations Manager colleague during absences.
- Visit stores and maintain relationships with store managers and frontline colleagues.
- Maintain assignment instructions and risk assessments, including annual reviews and sign-off.
- Investigate incidents and complaints, record root causes and corrective actions, and meet KPI timescales.
- Manage officer recruitment, succession planning, welfare, health and safety, and duty-of-care obligations.
- Participate in the weekend duty manager rota.
Role expectations
- Ensure officers comply with company policies, legal obligations, regulations and site instructions.
- Maintain customer expectations, service standards and contractual KPIs.
- Support QHSE initiatives and related legislation.
- Ensure contracted and temporary hours are covered by trained, competent officers.
