Key responsibilities
- Supervise security guards and shift operations at offices, warehouses, factories, and other assigned company locations.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and materials; maintain gate passes, visitor logs, and movement records.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing FMCG shipments and goods movement at checkpoints; verify documents with warehouse and logistics teams.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, perimeter security, keys, and access-control systems; promptly escalate faults and suspicious activity.
- Conduct patrols, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, unsafe practices, and unauthorized access.
- Investigate and document theft, loss, damage, trespassing, and security breaches; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate response to fires, accidents, medical incidents, and evacuations under site procedures.
- Prepare duty rosters, monitor guard attendance and performance, conduct briefings, and ensure post coverage.
- Liaise with HR, Administration, Facilities, Warehouse, Logistics, and management on security needs and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable UAE security and safety rules.
- Maintain occurrence books, incident registers, patrol checklists, equipment records, and management reports.
Qualifications and experience
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant UAE security training or licensing, where required for the role and emirate, is an advantage.
- Five to ten years of relevant security experience, including supervisory responsibility.
- Experience in UAE FMCG, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of access control, CCTV monitoring, incident investigation, gate operations, emergency response, and shift supervision.
- Familiarity with UAE workplace safety and security requirements; proficiency in basic reporting, email, and Microsoft Office.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 1–10 per month.
