Oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost-effective, timely purchasing of materials and supplies.
The role is in FMCG/manufacturing and is based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiations.
- Oversee purchasing of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and operational supplies.
- Control procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and supply-chain teams.
- Monitor inventory requirements and ensure timely material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Lead and develop the procurement team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of procurement experience, including managerial experience.
- FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost-control skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- CIPS or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Pay
- AED 1–10 per month is listed in the description.
