Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, toasties, and other light meals according to company recipes.
- Prepare and portion vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, and other fillings.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and food meets company standards for preparation and presentation.
- Operate sandwich grills, toasters, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Follow recipes, portion-control guidelines, and customer order specifications.
- Store ingredients properly and monitor freshness, expiry dates, and stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and daily preparation.
- Minimize food waste and prepare orders on time.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker or in a similar role in the UAE.
- Knowledge of sandwich preparation, fillings, and food presentation.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and proper food storage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
- Organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
