Oversee kitchen operations as the Chef in Charge, leading the team and maintaining food quality, safety, cost control, and smooth daily operations.
The role requires relocation to Al Ain, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily kitchen operations and staff.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, portion control, and recipe standards.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, purchasing, stock levels, and waste reduction.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
- Train, develop, and monitor staff performance.
- Coordinate with the Café Manager and front-of-house team for smooth service.
- Manage opening, closing, and daily operational checklists.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of UAE experience in a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar senior role.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team independently.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, inventory, and cost control.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills; hands-on and able to work under pressure.
- Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts.
- Relevant food safety certification is an advantage.
Key performance indicators
Food quality and consistency, kitchen efficiency, and service standards.
Food cost control, waste reduction, inventory accuracy, and stock management.
Hygiene and food safety compliance, staff performance and productivity, customer satisfaction, and company standards.
Pay
- AED 5,000–7,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
