Role overview

Lead a retail store team and contribute to Tesla’s mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy.

Success is measured through cumulative store sales targets, team performance, and smooth store operations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the team to meet productivity goals and identify sales growth opportunities.
  • Promote a best-in-class customer experience aligned with Tesla’s mission.
  • Build a positive team culture and address people and safety issues promptly.
  • Ensure employees follow Tesla policies and procedures.
  • Identify high-potential talent and provide ongoing feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Maintain facility and showroom standards, including employee dress and grooming guidelines.
  • Control store expenses and look for cost reductions.
  • Identify local market events to increase brand exposure and foster new owners.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of applicable professional experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals, or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starting approach with exceptional management and coaching skills.
  • Dedicated and ethical approach to sales and sales operations.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a trusted partner.
  • Excellent time-management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Expected compensation

  • Expected compensation is $68,000–$144,000 annual salary, plus cash and stock awards and benefits.
  • Pay may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
