Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Sales Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work-from-home days.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities with sports organizations, brands, and media partners, and for managing a pipeline from prospecting through closing.

Daily activities include conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

The role involves collaborating with internal marketing, operations, and production teams to align solutions with client needs and to deliver tailored sponsorship, advertising, and media packages.

The Sales Manager will also track sales performance against targets, prepare regular reports, and provide market feedback to help refine sales strategies and offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in media, sports, broadcasting, or digital marketing.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing deals in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Comfortable preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and proposals to decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with advertising, sponsorship, and media sales models, including digital campaigns and broadcast inventory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including use of CRM tools and basic sales forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of the sports ecosystem in India and the wider region is highly beneficial.
