Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Sales Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site work and the flexibility to work from home.

The Sales Manager will identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with sports organizations, broadcasters, and brand partners, focusing on sponsorships, advertising packages, and media rights.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of prospects, preparing and delivering sales pitches and proposals, and negotiating commercial terms in line with company targets.

The role also involves coordinating with marketing, production, and digital teams to create integrated solutions, tracking sales performance against KPIs, and providing regular forecasts and reports.

The Sales Manager will nurture long-term client relationships, gather market feedback, and contribute to sales strategies that strengthen Alpha Sports India’s position in the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in media, sports, or advertising.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, conduct needs analysis, and offer consultative, solution-oriented sales.
  • Competence in preparing proposals, presenting sales pitches, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Familiarity with sports broadcasting, digital media, sponsorships, and advertising products is highly desirable.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software to manage accounts, data, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to work independently in a hybrid setup.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Passion for sports, an understanding of fan engagement, and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends during major events.
