About This Role

Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities with sports organizations, brands, and media partners across the region.

Daily activities include prospecting and outreach, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company objectives.

The role involves collaborating closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and production to develop tailored solutions in sports broadcasting and digital media.

The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, track competitive activity, and maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports to support strategic planning and growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within media, sports, entertainment, or digital services.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, client relationship management, and deal negotiation.
  • Ability to understand and sell sports broadcasting, digital media, and sponsorship solutions, with a solid grasp of commercial models and pricing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels.
  • Comfort working with data, sales dashboards, and CRM tools to manage pipelines and report on performance.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the sports ecosystem in India and the Middle East, including leagues, teams, and brands, is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
