Required profile
- At least 2 years of local market experience.
- At least 2 years of shipping and logistics experience.
- Possess an active, potential customer base.
- Target-oriented, with a strong record of weekly success.
- Written and spoken English proficiency.
- UAE driver's licence required.
- Hindi, Arabic, Malayalam, or other local languages are preferred.
- Proactive sales approach, relationship-building ability, and a friendly, team-oriented willingness to learn and perform.
- Able to use digital tools to create reports, review and analyze information, and develop tactical sales approaches.
Responsibilities
- Develop business for mainliners, NVOCCs, and vessel owners or operators.
- Track market developments and identify new players in different industries.
- Monitor competitors, new players, services, and changes to existing services.
- Meet weekly customer-visit targets and submit daily and weekly reports.
- Maintain an updated database and provide ad hoc reports to management and principals upon request.
- Secure new customers on a fortnightly basis.
- Initiate and close sales and foster long-term customer relationships.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
