Inside Sales Representative - Liner / Nvocc

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Generate opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
• Contact freight forwarders, importers, exporters, and direct customers.
• Develop customer databases and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into business.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable shipping solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, rate requests, and commercial proposals.
• Build customer relationships, secure repeat business, and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Identify trade lanes and customer segments, monitor competitors and market rates, and maintain sales records and reports.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of UAE or local-market experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, liner agency, or a related industry.
• Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, business development, or customer acquisition.
• Be target-oriented and able to identify and develop business opportunities.
• Have strong follow-up and negotiation skills and be comfortable making high volumes of sales calls.
• Liner/NVOCC experience of at least 1 year is required.

Required Skills

• Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi are required.
• Use CRM systems, Excel, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and digital sales tools.
• Prepare sales reports, analyze customer data, and track sales performance.
• Arabic, Malayalam, and other local languages are preferred.
• Existing customer contacts in the freight forwarding and direct customer segment are an advantage.

Pay

• Pay starts from AED 3,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work location is in person.
