The position requires local market experience and an active customer base among freight forwarders and direct customers.
Candidate profile
- At least 2 years of local market experience.
- An active and potential customer base among freight forwarders and direct customers.
- The role is target-oriented and requires strong weekly sales performance.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
- Hindi, Arabic, Malayalam, or another local language is preferred.
- Candidates should be proactive and able to manage sales from initiation through closing.
- Candidates should build long-term customer relationships and work effectively in a team.
- Candidates should be comfortable using digital tools for reports, analysis, and tactical targeting.
Sales responsibilities
- Track market developments and identify new players in different industries.
- Monitor competitors, new services, and changes to existing services.
- Complete the required number of customer visits each week.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports.
- Maintain an updated customer database.
- Provide ad hoc reports to management and the principal when requested.
- Secure new customers every fortnight.
- Report to the General Manager of the liner agency.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 4,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
