Role overview
Sales/business development role for the liner division, reporting to the GM – Liner Agency.
Responsibilities and targets
- Secure new customers every fortnight and develop business with freight forwarders and direct customers.
- Monitor market developments, identify new industry players, and track competitors and service changes.
- Meet weekly customer-visit targets and provide daily and weekly reporting.
- Maintain an updated database and prepare ad hoc reports for management and the principal on request.
Candidate profile
- At least 2 years of local market experience and an active potential customer base of freight forwarders and direct customers.
- At least 1 year of liner/NVOCC experience is required.
- A UAE driver's licence is required.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
- One or two local languages, including Hindi, Arabic, or Malayalam, are preferred.
Skills and approach
- Target-oriented and proactive, with the ability to initiate and close sales.
- Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills; friendly, willing to learn, and motivated to perform.
- Able to use digital tools to create and review reports, analyze information, and identify sales tactics.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
