Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline such as engineering, program management, or project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong mathematics, negotiation, multitasking, organization, and time management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Process-oriented and analytical mindset, basic understanding of manufacturing process flow, and valid G driver's license.
- Automotive OEM commercial or quoting experience; Trans4M ERP or GSD pricing; cost accounting; quotation preparation; e-commerce systems; mechanical or engineering background; and Tier 1 automotive sales experience are preferred but not required.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Review and administer contracts; manage new quote development, customer pricing, quote summaries, and timely customer submissions.
- Coordinate and verify quotation activities, develop customer pricing from supplied costs, and prepare customer quote response formats.
- Track open financial issues to closure and maintain assigned Trans4M ERP areas, primarily pricing.
- Maintain customer web portals, e-commerce systems, and the GSC sales forecast.
- Manage quote capital submissions, including preparation, development, analysis, and business-case summaries.
- Reconcile and document tooling costs; create sales and marketing presentations; coordinate customer visits.
- Travel within Canada and to the USA as needed; read and interpret MRP and engineering bills of materials.
- Communicate politely and effectively with internal and external customers.
Compensation
- Compensation is $75,000–$95,000 annually.
