Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and roll-forward analysis.
- Assist with weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting; analyze trends in sales, finance, and other business areas.
- Analyze profit-and-loss statements, report findings, and recommend actions to management.
- Research returns, depreciation, investments, purchase requisitions, and invoice approvals.
- Track fixed-asset projects, tooling costs, spending, OEM invoicing, and inventory.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting materials; assist with budgets.
- Follow company policies and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Analyst I: bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, and 0–2 years of relevant financial experience.
- Analyst II: bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, and three to five years of relevant financial experience.
- Analyst III: bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, and six to eight years of relevant financial experience.
- Candidates must be competent with ERP, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, and project-management skills are requested.
- Analyst III qualifications include general supervision and project-management experience; CPA, CMA, or MBA may be held or in progress.
- Working knowledge of English is required.
Physical requirements
The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds as needed and standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
