  • Host kickoff meetings for cross-functional FEA, process, and design teams.
  • Obtain customer sign-off on static and dynamic issues before die shipments and prepare Die Change Reports.
  • Prepare and update schedules, timelines, FEMA, BOM, buy-off, feasibility, program-status, and tolerance or process-evaluation reports.
  • Provide technical support for quotation studies and hard-tool and soft-tool checks.
  • Manage program data, overlays, parts history, DIRT forms, shipment and packaging requirements, and SMIRT models and BOMs.

Schedules, reviews, and controls

  • Maintain QEP, customer timelines, APQP timing, cadence documents, milestone trackers, open-issues matrices, and lessons learned.
  • Obtain quotes and purchase orders for outsourced work; prepare Part Acceptance Review documents and approve invoices in File Nexus.

  • Participate in or lead root-cause, 8D, customer incident, and rework processes.

Launch and collaboration

  • Provide cradle-to-grave program support, including homeline commissioning and efficient press-time scheduling against the master timeline.
  • Coordinate suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and deliver products on time, within budget, and to required quality and engineering levels.
  • Support FEA springback studies and correlate actual tryout information with upfront engineering.
  • Update program trackers and KPIs; support monthly program cost estimates and continuous improvement.
  • Assist sales with engineering-change quotations, new-program initiatives, and die-construction sourcing.
  • Support purchasing, machining CAD, tooling, launch, secondary tryout, quality, and fixture-build teams.

Role expectations

  • Carry out health and safety, lockout, and environmental duties in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Maintain effective customer and cross-functional communication and understand customer requirements.
