An experienced Safety Officer is sought for the employer's construction team in the UAE.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or a relevant HSE certification is preferred.
- Experience in site safety inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate availability is requested.
- UAE construction experience is mandatory.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards at the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, records, and documentation.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety requirements.
