Retail Sales Executive

Sales and customer service

• Meet individual and store sales targets, revenue objectives, and KPIs, including conversion, transaction value, units per transaction, and customer retention.
• Engage customers, identify needs and budgets, demonstrate products, recommend suitable options, and pursue upselling and cross-selling.
• Provide personalised assistance, explain product features and policies, resolve enquiries and complaints, and build customer loyalty.
• Communicate promotions, loyalty programmes, seasonal offers, and product launches; support in-store campaigns and demonstrations.

Merchandising and store operations

• Maintain product knowledge, attractive displays, organised shelves, accurate labels and pricing, and current promotional materials.
• Monitor availability, coordinate replenishment, and share customer preferences, slow-moving items, and product requests with management.
• Support opening and closing, sales-floor cleanliness, stock replenishment, inventory checks, cycle counts, stocktaking, and merchandise handling.
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams; report damaged, defective, missing, or misplaced products.

Transactions and teamwork

• Process POS transactions, payments, discounts, billing, invoices, receipts, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations accurately.
• Handle cash responsibly, support daily reconciliation where required, report transaction issues, and protect payment information.
• Work with store colleagues, attend briefings and training, assist during peak periods, and support new-team-member training when required.
• Follow company procedures, UAE retail requirements, health and safety practices, and professional and security standards.

Qualifications and experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a customer-facing sales environment is required.
• Experience in a retail store, showroom, department store, shopping mall, or consumer-facing business is preferred.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
