Job responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Prepare and issue customer bills and receipts.
- Operate the POS system.
- Verify cash balances and maintain accurate daily sales records.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues professionally.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth customer service.
- Keep the cashier counter clean and organized.
- Prepare daily cash reports for a supervisor or manager.
- Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
Qualifications and skills
- Previous restaurant cashier experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mathematics and cash-handling skills.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,500–2,000 per month.
