About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI applications for cybersecurity weaknesses and assess data exposure, insecure integrations, and unauthorized access risks.
• Support security reviews of AI interfaces and connected services; document prompt injection and input-handling risks found during authorized testing.
• Review access controls and data protection measures; assess third-party AI models, plugins, and external services.
• Evaluate AI security controls against recognized guidance and maintain records of findings, remediation actions, and testing results.
• Collaborate with application developers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity teams; prepare assessment reports and risk summaries.
• Monitor emerging AI security threats and vulnerability disclosures; follow approved sensitive-data handling and testing procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, application security, and access management.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and common security vulnerabilities; awareness of AI systems, machine learning, or generative AI.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and technical documentation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate findings clearly; commitment to ethical security testing and responsible data handling.

Preferred Skills

• Awareness of OWASP Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications or related AI security guidance.
• Basic knowledge of prompt injection, insecure output handling, and sensitive information disclosure risks.
• Familiarity with cloud security, API protection, security testing, vulnerability tracking, or risk assessment tools.
• Introductory experience with Python or another programming language; awareness of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, academic projects, AI security labs, or internships are an advantage.
