Role summary

Submissions and regulatory engagement

• Engages with GCGRA on submissions, queries, and approvals; prepares responses and supports regulatory discussions.
• Leads submissions for product approvals, internal control updates, waiver requests, and formal notifications.
• Drafts responses to information requests and queries and manages submission timelines, dependencies, and documentation.
• Supports regulatory meetings and engagements.

Regulatory advice and business partnering

• Advises on product development, technology changes, and commercial initiatives.
• Identifies approval requirements and timing early in project lifecycles, translates requirements into guidance, and escalates material risks.
• Partners with Commercial Gaming and cross-functional stakeholders to structure compliant initiatives and implement requirements in products and processes.

Governance and team operations

• Contributes to oversight across both business units and supports regulatory reporting, management updates, and Board-level reporting.
• Reviews and advises on business-owned policies and procedures when regulatory submissions or product changes require updates.
• Supports investigations into regulatory incidents or potential non-compliance.
• Tracks regulatory actions, commitments, and supervisory items through completion and assesses developments through horizon scanning.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of team processes, templates, operating standards, and systems; maintains professional and ethical conduct.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of regulatory compliance or regulatory advisory experience.
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and formal responses to regulators.
• Strong experience applying regulatory frameworks commercially and managing complex approvals end to end.
• Experience drafting regulatory advice and implementing legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, written and spoken communication, and organizational skills; able to manage competing deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in gaming, lottery, financial services, or another regulated sector is preferred.
• A degree in Business, Risk Management, Law, or another relevant field is ideal.
