Role overview

Commercial and financial analysis

• Analyze revenue, margins, customer behavior, product performance, costs, and profitability.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses for initiatives, investments, and commercial opportunities.
• Analyze metrics including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, return on investment, payback periods, margins, and profitability.
• Analyze product, customer-segment, and channel performance; explain variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Turn financial and operational data into actionable insights and support FP&A budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning.

Reporting and presentations

• Support monthly and quarterly management reporting with performance analysis and commentary; develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports.
• Identify emerging trends, explain what drove performance, and highlight issues requiring management attention.
• Prepare executive-quality PowerPoint presentations and visualizations for management meetings, Board discussions, strategic reviews, and performance reviews.
• Develop clear presentation narratives and help establish Finance templates and presentation standards.

Business partnering

• Work with Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Strategy, Product, and other functions to understand performance and commercial drivers.
• Constructively challenge assumptions, support business cases, and use fact-based analysis to influence commercial decisions.

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, including ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and executive-quality presentations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and commercial KPIs.
• Ability to make complex analysis clear and actionable; strong attention to detail, accuracy, and written and verbal communication.
