Job Purpose
Lead and govern implementation of the Group Quality framework across operating plants and central functions.
Drive QMS standardization, audit governance, certification readiness, risk mitigation, and systemic quality improvement.
Act as second-in-command to the Senior Manager – Quality and deputize when required.
Quality Governance
- Translate Group Quality strategy into regional deployment plans and standardize QMS implementation across plants.
- Lead cross-functional quality initiatives and identify systemic risks affecting certification, compliance, and customer acceptance.
- Develop annual audit plans, lead cross-site audits and investigations, and track NCR trends and corrective actions.
- Support third-party audit readiness, conduct standards gap analyses, and implement changing standards across the group.
- Lead continuous improvement programs, standardize root cause methods, and improve defect, rejection, repair, and First Pass Yield results.
- Oversee high-impact customer complaints, product failures, corrective actions, and institutionalization of lessons learned.
- Establish group quality dashboards and provide consolidated reports to senior management.
- Strengthen quality manuals, procedures, documentation, calibration, testing, qualification, and digital quality systems.
- Coach plant quality managers and engineers, build capability, and manage quality training budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Quality, or a related field.
- Certified Lead Auditor qualification.
- Minimum 9–10 years of quality experience.
- Strong working knowledge of international standards, including ISO and API.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, multi-site quality systems experience, and external certification audit exposure are preferred.

- Knowledge of international standards implementation and current legislation.
- Ability to influence quality behaviors and drive change across an organization.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and undertake detailed inspections.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing requirements and machine calibration.
- Detailed knowledge of company products and raw material specifications.
- Strong systems thinking, cross-functional influence, strategic problem-solving, communication, risk management, and change leadership.
Stakeholder Scope
Internal stakeholders include Quality, Operations, business unit, plant, HSE, procurement, and related leaders.
External stakeholders include certification bodies, regulatory authorities, inspection agencies, and strategic customers.
