Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors and obtain competitive quotations.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Issue purchase orders and track procurement status.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Manage subcontract agreements, variations, and payment certifications.
• Verify quantities executed on-site and certify completed works.
• Maintain procurement records, cost reports, and commercial documentation.
• Support project management with budget forecasting and financial reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, procurement planning, and commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with UAE construction market rates and procurement practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or utility projects.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction commercial management.
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.
