Role overview

Quality governance and project oversight

• Develop and oversee QA, QC, and supply chain standards, policies, and procedures across major power projects.
• Review EPC contractor Project Quality Plans, Quality Management Systems, and supporting documentation; advise Project Companies on contractual and Owner requirements.
• Support standardized quality frameworks, governance, and best practices; conduct quality reviews and stakeholder workshops.
• Oversee quality across development, procurement, construction, and delivery; monitor EPC and OEM compliance with standards, contracts, and project specifications.
• Conduct reviews, site assessments, and audits; identify deficiencies, non-conformances, risks, and potential schedule or plant-performance impacts.
• Support corrective actions and improved delivery; review contractor quality documentation, inspection requirements, and performance.

Supply chain, performance, and improvement

• Evaluate supply chain readiness, supplier capabilities, and OEM quality requirements; support contractor qualification and equipment supplier assessments.
• Monitor critical equipment procurement, material expediting, and supply chain performance; identify risks and recommend mitigation.
• Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and Project Companies to ensure equipment and materials meet quality standards.
• Develop and monitor quality KPIs, audit schedules, and project reporting; analyze trends and recurring issues.
• Coordinate internal and third-party audits, monitor corrective actions, prepare management reports, and promote lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Position-specific experience

• CCGT position: senior QA/QC and quality management experience on CCGT power generation projects; oversee EPC quality systems, plans, and compliance.
• CCGT position: knowledge of major power plant equipment, OEM quality assessments, supplier inspections, and project quality risks.
• Solar PV and BESS position: senior QA/QC and quality management experience on utility-scale solar PV projects of 500 MW or more; prior BESS exposure.
• Solar PV and BESS position: oversee EPC quality systems, plans, and compliance; know solar PV equipment, OEM assessments, supplier inspections, and project quality risks.
• IPP project experience is required; Owner, Developer, or Project Company oversight is preferred.
• Assess quality risks through project development, procurement, and construction.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years in senior Quality Management positions in the EPC industry, including project quality management on IPP projects.
• Experience in EPC contractor and OEM qualification, supplier assessments, quality audits, and corrective action management.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, EPC project quality plans, contractor compliance, and supply chain quality management.
• Ten or more years, especially in EPC quality management or corporate/headquarters oversight of Project Companies, is preferred.
• A master’s degree in Engineering or a relevant professional diploma/certification is preferred.
• Experience overseeing multiple power projects at corporate or portfolio level is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and coordinate with project stakeholders.
