The role
Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, ISO standards, and project procedures.
Support quality assurance across design and construction while managing technical submissions, project documentation, and records through client document management systems.
What you’ll do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, plans, and processes aligned with ISO 9001 and project-specific standards.
- Coordinate reviews of drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and BIM models before submission.
- Monitor design deliverables and project activities for compliance with contracts, regulations, standards, and specifications.
- Conduct internal audits, track corrective and preventive actions, and recommend quality improvements.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary reviews and ensure agreed responses to comments and client feedback are reflected in subsequent submissions.
- Prepare QA/QC reports, monitor quality indicators, identify project risks, and support mitigation actions.
- Manage correspondence, submissions, transmittals, and records in PMWeb, CDE, or similar systems, including revision tracking and archiving.
- Review contractor submittals, monitor inspections, manage punch lists and NCRs, and verify closure of construction quality issues.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–8 years in QA/QC, quality management, and/or document control on large-scale engineering and construction projects.
- Certified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems with strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Auditor Training Certification in ISO 9001:2015.
- Experience with PMWeb, Aconex, or similar Common Data Environment systems.
- Airport project experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of BIM information management standards, including ISO 19650, is advantageous.
- Understanding of design-stage deliverables, technical reviews, BIM models, and engineering submission workflows.
