QA (Manual & Automation Testing- Mobile & Web Applications)

Role Overview

Manual Testing

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Validate UI/UX consistency and application behaviour.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications.
• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts.
• Execute automated regression suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug and maintain automation scripts.
• Improve test coverage and reduce manual effort through automation.

API & Backend Validation

• Test APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
• Validate data integrity between systems.
• Perform basic database validations using SQL queries.

What We’re Looking For

• **Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, IT or related field.**
• Minimum **4 years of hands-on experience** in web and mobile automation.
• Strong experience in **e-commerce application testing**.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in test case design and execution.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced release cycles.

Good To Have

• Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Basic understanding of **data quality impact on AI outputs.**
• Experience in setting up **test reporting dashboards** (Allure, extent reports etc.)
