Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchaser with a strong background in the building materials industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction and building materials while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery.
The candidate should have excellent supplier management skills and a good understanding of the local UAE building materials market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure building materials, hardware, tools, and related products as per company requirements.
- Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Compare quotations and conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Resolve supply, quality, and delivery-related issues with vendors.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
